This is the Thursday Wednesday night football/anything else website. It was conceived, slightly drunkenly, in the pub, without much concept of content.

This site is a wiki, so any 'yarders can edit it. It's based on PmWiki. To see how editing and formatting works, just click "Edit" at the top of this screen to access (and change) this page.

The links on the left (or under Menu, at the top, if you're on the mobile site) will give you extensive help.

To add a new page do this:

  1. edit a page
  2. type the title of the page you want to create inside double square brackets like this: New Page?.
  3. save the edit and click on the link you've created - a new page will automatically be created with your title.
  4. write some stuff on the new page.
  5. save your new page by clicking on the 'Done' button.

Pictures

To add a picture, simply type in its url (right click on any image on the internet to find this).

If you have a picture of your own to upload, go to image shack, upload your photo and then use the 'direct link to photo' back here.

You can now also upload photos to www.barnardpark.co.uk - just click on the 'upload' link at the top of each page. You'll need the password.

Section for Newcomers and the Terminally Lost

Barnard Park is a five minute walk from Angel tube, west of Upper Street.

There's a proper google map here.

Kick-off is currently 6.45pm, Wednesdays. In theory.

The Albion

Traditional pub of choice for post-match drink and discussion is the Albion, pub to the stars (well, Sue Pollard) and purveyor of good beer and expensive food.

The Crown

Old pub of choice; 116 Cloudesley Road.. No cheaper, but friendly, a good choice of beers and less packed in summer.

RUBBLE N SNOOP !

The Regent

Newest pub of choice - was the best thing about World Cup 2010. Even better than vuvuzelas. Serves great pizzas as well as standard-issue expensive Islington beer.

The Regent on Google maps.
